I love all our folk painting. It is our traditional paintings, vibrant colors, simplicity and all the colors are from the natural plant. I am very impressed to learn Madhubani paintings. Madhubani paintings are originaly from Bihar, India. Madhubani paintings started as a welcome painting on the walls, doors and floors for the Gods. A paste of cow dung and mud is applied on the walls and floors to give a perfect black background on which pictures are drawn with white rice paste; bright vegetable colors are then applied on the figures making them more vibrant. I wish to learn more about Madhubani paintings. Whenever I go to India I learn and developed in Canada... I have painted on sarees, wallhanging and canvas board. First time I'm trying on glass and it came very well....
